Since it's tax time and all my attention is usually in front of my computer either drawing or filing in numbers on financial forms my eyes really needed a break so I taught myself some general carpentry skills and have begun fixing up my outside deck. I thought I needed to replace four boards but once I got in there I realized it was closer to 30! I can do them in my sleep now. My girlfriends are amazed. I long to be a guest on the HGTV network! Here's my daughter with a small towel table for the hot tub I made from the scrap. Power tools are amazingly fun.
